FAQs
What Type of Player Is This Paddle For?
- Those who are looking for the absolute biggest, hugest, massivest sweet spot out there.
- Control freaks.
- Players wanting a shorter handle for more control than you could ever ask for. Now, if you shank the ball, you don’t have to look at your paddle. Because it was definitely the you, not the paddle. 😜
- Those who think dinking is an art form, and love moving people around like puppets.
- Players who have ever been told they’re like Bob Ross or Vincent Van Gogh with a pickleball paddle instead of a paintbrush because the way they manipulate the ball is beautiful to watch… unless they’re playing against you. 😆
- If you want/need a little more forgiveness on your shots
What Makes This Paddle Great?
The shape. It’s different for a reason. It plays differently.
The sweet spot is massive. I’m talking MASSIVE.
Even balls that you don’t hit on the center of your paddle feel great.
The Mission will give any player more confidence to go for bigger shots, and succeed more often with the ultimate forgiving paddle on the market.
But unlike other paddles that only focus on dinking, the Mission paddle does not sacrifice on power for when you need to put a ball away.
What’s The Story Behind the Name Mission?
(Each paddle is named after a life-changing event Brett Lee, experienced)
The second life-changing event I had was serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. For 2 years, I was able to focus and serve the Lord and others.
It was the hardest, most rewarding 2 years I’ve ever experienced in life still to this day.
I realized something interesting while serving a mission. The more I focused on others, the more I changed and the happier I became. This was a totally new concept to me as a 19 year old boy who thought the entire world evolved around him. 😂
I learned how to love people the way our Savior loves them. Now, that doesn’t mean I always liked the people I was with, but I did love them. 😝
I am confident that every single good thing in my life came because of serving a mission. I know I wouldn’t have been able to meet and subsequently marry my wife had I not served my mission. It’s amazing how 21 years later, I am still receiving blessings from my mission.
